Dr. Karin Nealon, D.C.
With a passion for helping people, Dr. Karin Nealon has been practicing in healthcare for more than two decades. Inspired by her intimate connection with the early struggles of motherhood, she has spent the last ten years specializing in personalized care for families, particularly during the critical first months of life.
After graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Biology from Long Island University Karin went on to become a Fulbright Scholar and continued her research in Australia. Upon returning to the United States she transitioned from research to clinical healthcare, starting as an EMT on the night shift before working in cardiac clinical trials.
Dr. Karin returned to school at Western States Chiropractic College in 2005 and birthed the first two of her three wonderful children during the program. The experience of birth and motherhood focused her interests to include care for women and infants. It also developed her passion for nutrition and healthy eating, especially for children, and she became adept at cooking healthy meals and managing dietary restrictions. By tailoring her education and training over the past decade, Dr. Karin has become an expert in lactation, tongue-tie, and airway issues.
Dr. Karin’s favorite holiday is Halloween and she takes pride in hand-making her family’s costumes. She likes to sew, metal stamp, craft altered art items, and she can often be found dancing in the driver’s seat of her hybrid-electric minivan.
